Web Design Contest for high school girls

The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation (MCWTF) is pleased to announce its 4th annual Website Design Contest for high school girls. Each year a theme is chosen for the websites that allows the contestants to focus on a specific topic of interest. This year's theme is "Heroes." The theme hopes to encourage girls to think about heroes in general as well as specific heroes, whether real or fictional. It is open ended enough to encourage creativity, thoughtfulness, and a little research.

Girls who are interested should keep two dates open this fall: Saturday, October 10, 2009 for the optional Day of Instruction as well as Saturday, December 5, 2009 for Final Day of Judging presentations (if they make the finals).
