Assignment 1: photo scavenger hunt alive/fibonacci due Jan 30
This week, you will be taking a photo of something that relates to:
2nd hour: alive
3rd hour: fibonacci (number sequence where you add the preceding number to the current number: 0 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89 144 233 377 610 987 1597 2584 4181 6765)
Edit: Trail would like to add that this number series relates to spirals and the golden ratio as well.

You will need to:
1. Make sure the image is in focus, without camera shake. If it's blurred, reshoot it - no point in turning it in just to get a zero on it.
2. Consider composition, color, lighting and the creativity of your photo. (For creativity, take a moment to think of the most obvious and boring thing you could do with this word. Now think of something else that is less obvious, something that will surprise me in some way.
3.Save the image for the web (save as a jpg for photos, and rotate so it is upright if necessary). File should be 600 pixels wide or less, and file size is 50k or less. Reply to this thread with a post that includes your photo.
Objectives:
Learning to think creatively within a set of guidelines (very typical of how we work in a design studio with clients)
Assessing your own photos (be your own quality control)
Grading rubric:
4 points.
1 - Taking the photo in focus.
1 - Creative interpretation of the assignment.
1 - Color
1 - Composition
