Assignment 14: MLK Jr project AND "I Believe"

2nd hour: During this week, I would like several (minimum 2, more is better) original photos and/or graphics that we can use for the U2 song for the Macomb county dinner. The theme of the dinner is "One Region/One Dream" and the images should relate to the song we watched in class.

7th hour: During this week, I would like several (minimum 2, more is better) original photos and/or graphics that we can use for the "I Believe" project. You each should have signed up for a specific category.

Think creatively for these. They do not need to be literal - the images can include metaphors, they can create a mood. We need these soon, because we also need to budget time for creating the animations.


Objectives:
These projects mimic how we work in the industry on design teams under a creative director, with deadlines. Because we have real-life clients for these projects, meeting our deadlines is important. First deadline for each project will be Monday. While I normally cut you some slack if work is turned in late, on this project, if I don't have a minimum of 2 photos by Monday Nov 10, I will be reducing your grade by 1 point for each late day. (See me for an extension if you have an EXCUSED absence.) These projects need to be top level work, not the sort of thing you shoot at the last minute just to turn something in.

Grading rubric:
10 points. (5 for each photo)
2 - Taking the photo in focus.
2 - Creative interpretation of the assignment.
2 - appropriate for project
2 - Color
2 - Composition
