Assignment 21: patterns
Create a small repeating pattern. Seams should be, well, seamless. The edges of the repeat should wrap around and reconnect in a creative way. Please see samples at http://squidfingers.com/patterns/. To get an idea of complexity, I am including a sample of a former student’s work here:

Notice that this is more complex than a large X through the middle of each repeating square - and shapes interlock across the edges of each square. This is a design challenge. (I know you can fill in squares in photoshop.) The challenge is to find a creative and visually pleasing way to make the image look continuous.
Grading rubric: 6 points total
3 points: how the pattern interlocks/how intricate the design is.
2 points: color scheme
1 point: attention to detail
