Assignment 3: Altered photo

Your third assignment is to combine elements of two separate photos to make a collage. Reply to this thread with a post that includes your photo.

You will need to:
1. Use two photos. I prefer if you shoot them yourself, but for this assignment I will also accept source photos from morguefile. (Do not use images you find from google, as you do not have the rights to use those images.)
2. Using photoshop, combine parts of one image with parts of the other.
3. Post the image to the forum.

Objectives:
Moving parts of images from one file to another.
Controlling the eraser to seamlessly merge elements.
Using the levels tool to match color tones.
Practice saving files for web.

Grading rubric:
3 points.
1: Smooth seams in the image (so it doesn't look like it was cut out with scissors and glued together).
2. Adjustment of color levels so one piece isn't lighter or darker than the piece you are merging it into.
3. Image is saved in an appropriate way for the web. Use a jpg format for photos, rotate so it is upright if necessary, file is 600 pixels wide or less, and file size is 50k or less.
