Assignment 10: Similar shapes due 4/19
For this assignment you can use either straight photography or photomontage (collages). You can apply your own unique style to this project. The underlying concept should focus on how qualities one of one object are similar to another object. Consider shape (from various angles), texture, reflections, and any other qualities you can think of. Avoid using circles as the similar shape - I want you to push yourself beyond the most simple solution. Also, no bananas. Give me something unexpected!
To receive credit, you must:
1) Make sure your posted work does not exceed 600 pixels in height or width.
2) Post thumbnails or links to your source images. If you took the photos, state that.
Grading Rubric (6 points total):
2 points for creative concept - using a circle or line as your shape (replacing the earth with a clock) would not earn points in this category. Making an elephant head look like toenail clippers would be more creative.
2 points for technical skills (does it look like professional graphics/photography skills were used?)
1 point composition
1 point color
