Midterm Projects: Cultural Conflicts

Based on the ideas you came up with in Assignment 21 (examples of how a culture is portrayed from inside vs. outside of the culture), create a digital or photographic piece that expresses that conflict/difference in perspective in some way.

Grading: 8 points possible

2 Creativity (is it an original concept?)
2 Technical skill (does it push your skill level, is it sloppy or show evidence of skills?)
2 Emotional Impact (does it create or express personal conflict/emotion in some way?)
2 Aesthetics (color, composition, etc.)

Computer crashed when I got this far and wouldn't let me do anything else with it but I think it gets the point accross

Based on the 2010 censes 70% of African American children were born to single mothers. Due to absent fathers there are tremendous uncertainties regarding a child’s life style. There automatically thrown in a financial disadvantage due to having one sole provider compared to your typical stay at home mom and working dad.

i would've liked to arrange the pictures in a less cluttered way and add a background that would bring it all together. It looks really unfinished without a background.
