Feb 10: Weekly Progress #1 Due (5 points)

Part I: Copy and paste from your proposal what you are scheduled to have done this week.

Part II: Post your new work for the week. Note: Progress reports must include actual work samples to receive credit. A statement such as "I took photos" without submitting the photos will be worth zero points.

Weekly progress reports are part of my class grade, are worth 5 points each, and will be marked down one point (out of 5) for each day late.

Painting the backdrop today.

Febuary 10: Have a total of 3 photographs added and 2 graphics.

Going through old work, I was able to find enough usable photos and graphics to meet my weekly deadline. I started making new graphics this week and will start taking new pictures this weekend.

This is a photo and a graphic I pulled from past work.

*I said that I was going to do a story line this week*

The beginning of the documentary will begin with a short intro, may be a parody of what most people think poets are about. These deep people 24/7 (which we are) but we are just as comedic and fun as the next person.

Once the intro is finished, then we will have music playing then there will be clips of us dancing and acting silly or what now.

Throughout the video there will be clips of the interviews that I will have with the artist including myself.

I plan on having the interviews woven into the documentary, the questions I ask will be relevant, so whatever question is relevant to that specific part of the video, it will be edited into that scene.

The way I will have the interviews is, I will ask a question and they will answer, but the way I edit it, will be that you wont hear me ask the question, they will just restate the question.

This documentary will have a small zoom on everyone on the team’s life and our journey on how long it took us for writing.

I will ask some personal questions.

I want to do a short music video type thing. I cant really describe it. But music will be an important factor in this documentary.

The ending will of course will be the wrap up of how the festival as a whole has affected us. How we’ve grown as a whole and how we will use this in the future for our writing and performance.

Feb 10: Have models picked, have design for pages 1-2 laid out



First shoot is already done as well

Feb 10: Start taking photos, have at least 3 (simple downtown sites), figure out what existing photos I’ll be using.
I didn't have time to make it downtown this week so I haven't taken any new photos, I have gone through my old photos and found about 8 existing photos that I'll be using for sure in my book

Feb 10: Start laying out pages for my portfolio.

I haven't picked a publisher for my portfolio yet so It's not the final layout but I've been making different page layouts in photoshop.

This is just a rough draft of an outline to help me to be more organized, and on track with the writing. I understand that I would have to make changes and revisions on the outline, again just a rough draft to get me started and moving.

This is the writing portion. I will have to make up my photos over summer break unless I am able to take some after school wit friends.

By Feb 10th, my proposal was posted, and the web layout for the home page has been sketched out and designed in a sketch book. Due to an illness, I was unable to post this update.
